ABOUT ME
I’m a food analytical chemist. I’ve pursued a PhD in Commodity Sciences at the Management Department of Sapienza University of Rome. In 2015, I obtained a BSc in Agro-Industrial Biotechnology and, in 2017, an MSc in Food Science and Technology at Sapienza University of Rome. My work is focused on analytical challenges related to food contaminants and additives in food, beverages, and food contact materials, the characterisation of food commodities, market research (qualitative and quantitative), supply chain evaluation, and sustainability assessment. I believe multidisciplinary is a keystone in science. I was recently awarded a Marie Curie PostDoc fellowship here at the University of Zaragoza for the project called SAFE-GREENPACK, which aims to assess the food SAFETY of «GREEN» disposable food PACKaging.
