Marta Gil Fernández

I have two bachelor’s degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry, coupled with a master’s degree in Advanced Analytical Chemistry, where I focused on instrumental techniques and the comprehensive characterization of complex materials. During this time, I worked on the inorganic analysis of historical tiles using various techniques (XDR, XRF, FT-IR) in the SUBMET group at the University of Navarra. I also conducted isotopic analysis of samples using different mass spectrometry instruments (mainly ICP-MS) for geochronology and paleomobility research at the National Centre for Research on Human Evolution (CENIEH). The combination of my background and an interdisciplinary approach has allowed me to explore a different branch of analytical chemistry within the GUIA group.
