Silvia Lóbez Almerge

Diploma in Occupational Therapy and Advanced Technician in Clinical Laboratory. My professional experience has been developed at both research and clinical laboratory settings. Throughout my career, I have worked in pathological anatomy sample processing and molecular biology techniques, including DNA extraction, amplification, purification and sequencing. Since 2018, I have been a member of the GUIA Research Group at the University of Zaragoza, where I support research activities in food packaging, particularly in active and intelligent packaging systems. Although this field is not directly related to my initial academic background, it has enabled me to expand my expertise in analytical chemistry, including packaging–food interaction studies, identification of non-intentionally added substances (NIAS),and preparation of migration assays.
